JEFFRY S KERBS, DDS

Dr. Kerbs has developed a holistic dental practice that is centered around health, natural beauty and minimally invasive dentistry.

 

Dr. Kerbs graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1983 and since that time has dedicated himself to pursuing knowledge and expertise through thousands of hours of continuing education including:
·    Two-year Progressive Orthodontics Program, enabling Dr. Kerbs to provide customized

     orthodontic treatment for both children and adults.
·    Las Vegas Institute (LVI) advanced training on smile design and makeover.
·    Accreditation through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an achievement only few

     have met in the world, giving Dr. Kerbs the expertise to conservatively enhance smiles through

     advanced cosmetic dentistry.
·    Kois Center advanced training on bite analysis and restoration.
·    14-month Loma Linda Implant Maxi-Course, enabling Dr. Kerbs to place dental implants, helping

     his patients replace missing teeth.
·    Accreditation through the American Academy of Ozone Therapy, which promotes the       

     innovative, holistic use of ozone to eliminate infection and inflammation and stimulate

     rejuvenation in the mouth and body as a whole.
·    Laser certification with the use of multiple lasers, including the ND-YAG and ER-YAG lasers,

     allowing Dr. Kerbs to provide many innovative, noninvasive treatments that otherwise would

     not be possible.
·    Accreditation through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology with SMART

     certification, the premier organization promoting holistic dentistry, including mercury-free and

     mercury-safe practices.
·    18-month Full Mouth Rejuvenation Residency at the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies and

     Minimally Invasive Dentistry, enabling Dr. Kerbs to treat TMD and fully rebuild and restore a

     mouth to eliminate pain in the TMJ, head and neck and bring a smile back to its healthy

     function and natural beauty.
·    Certification through the Pinhole Academy, allowing Dr. Kerbs to correct gum recession with

     the innovative Pinhole Surgical Technique – the least invasive method currently available for

     correcting gum recession.
·    VIVOS certified in Pediatric Epigenetics, Pneumopedics and Craniofacial Epigenetics to provide

     biomimetic airway remodeling with the pediatric VIVOS guides, DNA and MRNA appliance

     therapy.
·    Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT) trained doctor working closely with

     Orofacial Myofunctional Therapists and Breathing Therapists.

ASHLEIGH AREIAS DDS

A California native, originally from a small town in Central California, called Los Banos. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, before going on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2018. Dr. Areias values building relationships with her patients based on trust, compassion, and mutual respect. She takes pride in delivering the highest quality of care and is deeply committed to lifelong learning. To stay at the forefront of dental advancements, she regularly participates in continuing education courses and study clubs.She has completed advanced training at the Pankey Institute, where she expanded her expertise in restorative dentistry, comprehensive care, and the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and facial pain. Her passion for understanding the connection between oral health and overall wellness has led her to pursue further education through the Applied Integration Academy, the Synergy Academy, and the Institute of Functional Medicine. These programs have deepened her knowledge in integrative care, reinforcing her belief in treating each patient as a whole system—not just a set of teeth. Dr. Areias’s practice emphasizes the importance of nutrition, tongue function, breathing, sleep, and the microbiome in achieving optimal wellness.When she's not in the office or learning, Dr. Areias enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their four-year-old pup, Donner. They love to ski, golf, surf, and travel to visit family and friends across the country.Dr. Areias is thrilled to be a part of Dr. Jeff Kerbs’ exceptional team and looks forward to meeting you!

​RENEE KERBS, BS, RDH

Patient Care Coordinator and Registered Dental Hygienist
Renee graduated from Loma Linda University and has been working in the practice with Dr. Kerbs since 1985. Throughout the years, Renee has watched Dr. Kerbs grow in his field and has supported him in his vision of excellence. She has seen dentistry change and has educated herself along with Dr. Kerbs on the latest advances. She is excited about the level of care we are able to provide. The results of a patient’s new smile propel her passion for what Dr. Kerbs can provide with his dentistry. With Renee’s education and years in the dental profession, she is able to help patients realize their dental goals.

Renee has continued her education in dental hygiene throughout the years, attending the highest forms of scientific courses for achieving certification in laser technology. She has specific training in comfortable techniques in dental hygiene, resulting in painless dentistry. Renee has passion for what she does and continues to pursue knowledge in the best dentistry has to offer in order to provide only the best for all of Dr. Kerbs’ patients.

MACKENSIE JENKES, BS, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

Mackinsie attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated with honors receiving her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has undergone thorough training and certification in Full Prophylaxis, Periodontal Therapy with laser treatment, Dental Radiographs, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, and Velscope Oral Cancer Screenings. She is passionate about continuing her education with an emphasis on treating the patient “as a whole” in a holistic-minded way. From a young age, she attended many dental mission trips abroad and internationally, fueling her desire to start working in the field of dentistry. One year was spent in Argentina, receiving a minor in Spanish. She enjoys practicing the language with her Spanish speaking patients.

Mackinsie has known Dr. Kerbs and his family since she was a child and has been surrounded by family and friends in the dental field all her life. She has enjoyed working with a Dr. who cares deeply about his work, and respects his philosophy and methods of doing dentistry. Mackinsie, like Dr. Kerbs, sees dentistry as an art form, and feels that paying close attention to detail while having a gentle touch is of the utmost importance. She truly appreciates how dental hygiene can positively affect and improve one’s overall health and well-being. She truly enjoys making her patients feel at ease and comfortable throughout each visit.

 

JENAE CIUFFREDA, BS, RDH, CBBA, CSOM

Registered Dental Hygienist, Orofacial Myologist, Certified Breathing Behavior Analyst/Therapist 

Jenae graduated from Loma Linda University with two of the highest awards presented in her program: the Award for Clinical Excellence for demonstrating outstanding clinical skills with a team spirit, while giving the highest level of care to patients, and The Western Society of Periodontology Award in recognition of her pursuit of knowledge in the field of periodontology.

Since graduating, she has been practicing with Dr. Kerbs and has grown in her field with his teaching. She is passionate about providing her patients with the best dental care available while keeping them comfortable throughout their appointments. Jenae continues to learn dental hygiene’s latest techniques and is certified in laser nonsurgical gum care, with an Nd:YAG laser, which is a true non-touch laser. Her passion for knowledge in dental health and cosmetic dentistry grows every day and shows in her care and concern for her patients. She is truly dedicated to her profession and Dr. Kerbs’ vision of dentistry.
