AACD Accredited Cosmetic Dentistry

 

Jeffery Kerbs, DDS has achieved Accredited status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) – joining 300 dental professionals in the world who have earned this prestigious designation. Dr. Kerbs reached this status through dedication to continuing education and careful adherence to clinical protocol.

AACD members going through the AACD Accreditation program for dentists and dental laboratory technicians must undergo a three-part process consisting of a written examination, submission of clinical cases for evaluation, and an oral examination. Each candidate must also attend a series of workshops as part of the program. While each part of the process must be completed in sequence, candidates have up to five years to complete the program once successfully completing the written examination.

Dr. Kerbs graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 1983. He has aspired to educate himself in state-of-the-art cosmetic, as well as, functional dentistry, and has spent thousands of hours in additional coursework, including two years in orthodontics. Dr. Kerbs has pursued advanced training in many areas, including progressive orthodontics, Invisalign, laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental sleep medicine, and full-mouth reconstruction at such institutions as the Kois Center and the Las Vegas Institute. In addition to the AACD, he holds memberships in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Laser Dentistry, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kerbs and his wife, Renee, have two daughters, both of whom are pursuing careers in the dental field.
